Group To Protest Same-Sex Marriage Ban At Statehouse Today

(STATEHOUSE) - A rally for same-sex marriages is planned today at the Statehouse.

Lawmakers have said they have no plans to address a Constitutional ban on same-sex marriages in this legislative session.

However, Indiana Equality still plans to rally against the ban.

To amend the Constitution, two consecutively elected legislatures must pass a measure before voters have a say in a general election.
