Last updated on Saturday, January 5, 2008

(LAFAYETTE) - Three young siblings in Lafayette face grown up charges for allegedly stealing $500 in Christmas gifts meant for the needy.

Police say someone spotted the 12-and-10-year-old boys, and an 11-year-old girl - carrying bags full of wrapped presents from the community and family resource center.

All three siblings are charged with felony theft and felony burglary.

Police say they pried open the center's door in order to steal the gifts.
