Flood Victims Urged To Get Tetanus Shots

Last updated on Saturday, January 12, 2008

(MONTICELLO) - Residents of White and Caroll counties who were affected by this week’s flooding, are urged to get tetanus shots today.

The health departments in both counties say if you haven't had a tetanus shot within the past five years you could be opening yourself up to dangerous and potentially deadly infections.

There will be a clinic today from 9:00am to Noon in White County for adults 18 and older. It's at the White County Health Department in Monticello on North Street.
