(GARY) - A Gary woman will spend the next 10 years in prison for having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy.
32-year-old Johana Kalinowicz was sentenced Friday by a Lake Superior Court judge.
She admitted she had sex with the boy - who was a former neighbor - several times over a nine month period. That boy - is now a ward of state. His father says he became a chronic runaway when the case surfaced.
In court Friday Kalinowicz apologized for her actions.
