Woman Pleads Not Guilty In Newborn's Death

(LOUISVILLE, KY) - A Plainfield, Indiana woman has pleaded not guilty to charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence.

19-year-old Katie McCoy is accused of giving birth to a baby girl in a toilet while she was a student at Bellarmine University and then concealing the body.

A hearing is set for January 30th. An autopsy revealed that the baby was alive when born.
