(WARRICK COUNTY) - Police say Brooke Balbach’s death was violent.
The body of the woman said to be in her early 20s - was discovered Friday afternoon by her boyfriend who says he'd been out of town for a couple days. Police are not calling him a suspect, but they won't release his name.
Meantime, investigators obtained search warrants Friday for Balbach's home Friday. Balbach's body was taken to the Vanderburgh County morgue for an autopsy.
Warrick County hasn't seen a murder in five years.
