(PORTER) - A big gift for Porter Hospital. An anonymous donor gave the pediatric, neonatal, and emergency departments $7,000 dollars worth of Christmas gifts.
Porter County Sheriff Dave Lain and Chief Doug Snider brought the gifts over to the director of emergency nursing.
Lain says the donor asked the sheriff's department to play Santa and deliver the presents, which will help comfort some of the hospital's youngest patients.
