Jeffersonville Jury Considers Death Penalty For Killer

Last updated on Friday, December 14, 2007

(JEFFERSONVILLE) - A Vincennes man has been found guilty of killing an Evansville woman and her two daughters.

Prosecutors say Daniel Ray Wilkes was high on methamphetamine at the time of the murders in April 2006.

In Indiana, intoxication is not a defense.

The jury now will determine if Wilkes should be sentenced to death.
