Hoosiers Waiting For Tax Refund Loans Must Wait For W2's

Last updated on Saturday, December 22, 2007

(UNDATED) - Hoosiers hoping for a tax refund anticipation loan to help pay for Christmas presents may be disappointed.

Fiscal Tax President John Streiwe tells Inside Indiana Business that many consumers in the past used their final paycheck of the year to receive an advance tax loan called a "pay stub loan."

However, he says consumers now must wait until they receive their W2's to get refund anticipation loans.
