(BAINBRIDGE) - A member of North Putnam High School's basketball team remains in critical condition and a teammate is also hurt after they crashed on their way to catch the team bus.

Authorities say 16-year-old Cory Dean was thrown from his SUV when the vehicle rolled over on an icy county road. 18-year-old Zach Hedrick was also hurt.

The Cougars' Saturday game against South Putnam was canceled, along with the championship game of the Putnam County Classic.
