(INDIANAPOLIS) - Details have been finalized for the funeral of Congresswoman Julia Carson.
The funeral is scheduled for 10:00am Saturday at Eastern Star Church. Friday, a procession is planned to begin at Carson's home on the near Northside of Indianapolis and to arrive at the statehouse at 10:00am.
The congresswoman's body will lie in repose until 10:00pm Friday in the Statehouse rotunda. A memorial service is planned there for 6:00pm that night.
Carson died Saturday. She announced last month that she had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.
