Life Without Parole Sought For Mother And Fiance

Last updated on Thursday, November 29, 2007

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi is asking for life without parole for a mother and her fiance in the death of the woman’s 3-year-old daughter.

Brizzi says, according to the probable cause affidavit, the baby was returned to her natural mother after being in foster care and, in the weeks before Thanksgiving, was abused by Charity Bailey and Lawrence Green.

Brizzi says he wants to know why the child was returned to her natural mother and has requested files from the state on the case.
