(THORNTOWN) - A crash in Boone County has claimed the life of a 13-year-old girl.
Police say the girl was a passenger in a car that lost control and collided with a SUV on Interstate 65 near Thorntown Sunday. Two other people were injured.
The teenage victim was traveling home to Chicago after a weekend in Indianapolis. Five or six other SUVs filled with her family members were traveling behind the SUV involved in the accident.
