(PORTAGE) - Police say a Portage man has confessed to 93 burglaries in Porter and Lake counties.
21-year-old Jason Meade was arrested Thursday. Authorities say he admitted being part of a ring that's been rifling the cash drawer at small businesses for five months.
Meade's a suspect in break-ins in Portage, Valparaiso, Chesterton and Gary.
Police say they zeroed in on Meade after he turned up on the surveillance video at a business in Gary.
