"Special Injuries" On Lafayette Girl Investigated

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Marion County coroner’s office is investigating the death of a two-week-old Lafayette girl who had been transferred to Riley Hospital For Children in Indianapolis.

A preliminary autopsy of Audra Tessman noted "suspected injuries."

The girl had been first brought to home hospital in Lafayette by her mother, who told medical personnel the girl was lethargic and vomiting.

A full autopsy is set for Tuesday.
