(GARY) - Two Gary women are facing allegations they stole nearly 150 thousand from the state for fraudulent daycare services.
21-year-old Nyeshia Hackett and her mother, 37-year-old Rosalind McWhorter have been charged with welfare fraud, theft and corrupt business influence.
The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration investigated the women, who ran two daycare businesses called Guardian Angels I and Guardian Angels Ii in Hammond.
