Indiana Troops Headed To Iraq

(UNDATED) - More Indiana troops are headed overseas.

The Indianapolis-based National Guard brigade has formally received its orders for duty overseas. At least three-thousand men and women of the 76th Infantry Brigade Combat Team will begin their final training and are then expected to ship out for Iraq.

Among the units affected are: 1st Battalion, 151st Infantry Regiment, Jasper; 1st Battalion, 152nd Infantry Regiment, New Albany; 1st Battalion, 293rd Infantry Regiment, Fort Wayne; and Battery A, 2nd Battalion, 150th Field Artillery, Greencastle.
