(HAMMOND) - An investigation into Saturday’s fatal train-van collision in Hammond is expected to be completed today.
Surveillance videotape shows a minivan, driven by Edie Bolanos, being struck by a CSX freight train.
Bolanos' daughters, 11-year-old Crystal and eight-year-old-Anahi were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say it appears Bolanos was trying to outrun the train.
