Details Surrounding Girl's Death Still Under Wraps

Last updated on Monday, September 10, 2007

(CENTERVILLE) - Authorities are still releasing very few details into the death of an 18-year-old Centerville girl.

The body of Kelly Stanley was discovered in her home Friday.

Investigators from the Indiana State Police, Centerville Police Department and Wayne County Sheriff's Department are involved in the investigation.

Officials are treating the residence and surrounding area as a crime scene although no determination has been made as to whether or not the girl's death involves foul play. At this time no ruling has been made as to the cause of death. An autopsy was performed in Fort Wayne.

The death of Kelly Stanley comes less than a week after her 19-year old sister, Erin was found strangled to death in the family's home. That case also remains under investigation.
