Police Standoff At Campgrounds

Last updated on Thursday, August 9, 2007

(WARSAW) - A police standoff at a Kosciusko County campground ended Wednesday night with police finding a meth lab.

Police were called to Hoffman Lake Camp because a man was firing shots from his camping trailer. When they arrived, police and witnesses say 36-year-old Alando Smith of Warsaw began shooting again.

No one was hurt, but several police officers did get sick because of the heat.
