(BARGERSVILLE) - A Johnson County farmer was found dead Monday inside a grain bin on his farm near Bargersville.

Bargersville Fire Captain Paul Bird says 80 year-old Richard Henderson's body was pulled from a grain bin filled with corn about 77-minutes after Henderson's son noticed his father was missing.

Rescue workers paired up with neighbors to remove by hand from the bin eight-thousand bushels of corn. Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident was reported Monday morning in Johnson County.
