Groundbreaking Set For Firefighter Training Facility

(ANDERSON) - Groundbreaking ceremonies are planned today on a new training facility for Indiana firefighters.

The city of Anderson will be home to the new facility. Various training will be offered. Fire officials will also have access to printed informational material that they can take back to their respective departments and teach to their counterparts.

This will be the first unified training facility that will keep all firefighters on the same track when it comes to training techniques and valuable information.

Indiana State Fire Marshall Roger Johnson and John Buchman, section chief for Indiana firefighter training of the Indiana Department of Homeland Security will be on hand for the groundbreaking.
