Last updated on Thursday, July 5, 2007

(SANTA CLAUS) - Authorities say a Fort Wayne woman who fell into a shallow pool at the holiday world and Splashin’ Safari theme park Wednesday died of natural causes.

Indiana State Police Sergeant Todd Ringle says the 29-year-old woman died of congestive heart failure. She was apparently standing on the edge of a wave pool, where the water is only inches deep, when she collapsed.

Authorities say the woman was visiting the park with her boyfriend at the time of her death.

Holiday world is in Santa Claus, about 35 miles east of Evansville.
