(INDIANAPOLIS) - 13 fires in one neighborhood and so far, no end in sight.

Indianapolis Metro Police say they're looking at "every avenue" as to who maybe responsible. Police are saturating that neighborhood with patrols and fire investigators have shifted to night shifts, because all of the fires are being set in the overnight and early morning hours.

Sources close to the investigation say the 13 blazes, all set on the southeast side of town in vacant homes or garages, maybe the work of the notorious 2-1 fatal gang.

That gang first gained attention back in 2005, when their leader ordered a home to be set on fire because he believed a black family was going to move in.

Dennis Craig was later sentenced to 25 years behind bars and his co-defendants were sentenced as well. But, sources say the gang may've returned.

One man, Robert Green, remains in custody on an unrelated theft charge, but has not been charged yet in this case.

Investigators call Green a "person of interest," but maintain that these arsons are the work of a group of people.
