(MUNCIE) - A Ball State University student is missing and campus officials and his family want to hear from him.
22-year-old Derek Brewington, a senior psychology major from Wildwood, Missouri, was last seen on Saturday.
Brewington's father contacted university police Wednesday night to report him missing. Officials believe Brewington drove to Indianapolis last Saturday and sold his car. He then apparently got a ride to Union Station and boarded a train for New York City.
Brewington hasn't contacted anyone since, and attempts to contact him on his cell phone have been unsuccessful. Officials ask that anyone with information about his whereabouts contact university police.
