(FLOYDS KNOBS) - A girls’ soccer star at Our Lady of Providence high school in Clarksville has been charged with drunken driving in a crash which killed a Jeffersonville teenager.

Paige Grable is being held without bond on charges of DUI causing death and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police say Grable slammed into a second car and killed 16-year-old John Gatz, a day after the Pioneers lost the sectional final to Floyd Central.

A passenger in Grable's car was injured. Grable was unhurt.
