(UNDATED) - Experts are saying new numbers to the 812 area code should last a few years longer than expected.
The North American Plan Administration says original projections showed the numbers running out about now, however, with slower than expected economic growth, changes in technology and a influx of cellular phone users, the demand for new numbers dropped.
New information shows phone numbers for the 812 area code will run out in 2009.
