(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana State Police are recruiting.

First Sgt. Brian Olehy says the requirements for becoming a trooper have changed. He says they're now allowing people up to 39-years old apply and they've done away with a college degree requirement.

Olehy says the department now requires applicants to submit a preliminary one-page application online. To find it - go to: www.in.gov/isp

The first sergeant says you can't be a convicted felon and you need to be in fairly good physical condition.

He says it would be a plus if you speak a second language.
