Man Admits To Shooting Wife, Shoots Boyfriend

(NEW ALBANY) - Floyd County authorities say a local man has admitted this week to shooting his estranged wife multiple times.

36-year old Edward Stoess has been charged with attempted murder, while 36-year old Deena Stoess is listed in serious condition at a Louisville hospital with wounds to her lungs, liver and spinal cord.

Stoess is also charged with murder in Kentucky, where he's accused of killing Deena's new boyfriend, 35-year old James Shuttler III. Shuttler was found shot to death in his home.
