DNR Spending Million On Waterways

Last updated on Friday, May 5, 2006

(UNDATED) - The State Department of Natural Resources is spending more than a million dollars to help restore lakes in 18 counties.

The money comes from the Lake and River Enhancement Program established by the DNR's division of fish and wildlife.

The cash will go toward making the lakes more hospitable for swimming, boating and fishing.
