STATEHOUSE—Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter is reminding Hoosiers that there’s just a week left to meet the deadline for putting your telehone number on the state’s Do-Not-Call list.
If you register online at www.in.gov./attorneygeneral by Feb. 21, 2006, telemarketers will be barred from making unsolicited calls to that number beginning on April 1, 2006.
If you don't register next week, you will continue to get calls until at least July 1, 2006, when the next deadline goes into effect. Registration for the Do-Not-Call list is free.
