(CHICAGO, IL) - Alex Rios hit a go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the seventh as the Chicago White Sox edged the Seattle Mariners 6-5.

Rios finished with two runs batted in as did Gordon Beckham, who hit a two-run home run off Seattle starter Jason Vargas.

Alexei Ramirez and Paul Konerko added solo shots off Vargas as Chicago won its third game in a row.

Chone Figgins hit his first home run of the season, a two-run shot off White Sox starter Mark Buehrle.

Neither starter figured in the decision as Matt Thornton picked up the win for Chicago with Jamey Wright taking the loss for the Mariners.
