(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Pacers’ frontline got even thinner as Troy Murphy left early in the second quarter of last night’s loss to the Nuggets with a bruised lower back.

Murphy fell hard on his tailbone while going for a rebound and did not return. It is not known if he will be available for tonight's game in New York.

The Pacers were already shorthanded down low with Jeff Foster and Tyler Hansbrough missing last night's game with Denver.

Foster is out with a high ankle sprain while Hansbrough has yet to suit up due to a shin injury.

Head Coach Jim O'Brien said on Monday that if all goes well this week, Hansbrough could make his NBA debut Friday night against Washington.
