(SOUTH BEND, IN) - Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd is back and will play Saturday against Navy.

Floyd was cleared to play on Monday, six weeks after breaking his left collarbone against Michigan State.

The sophomore out of St. Paul, Minnesota, was second in the nation in receiving at 160 yards per game at the time of his injury.

Head Coach Charlie Weis also announced that backup quarterback Dayne Crist is out for the season.

Crist tore the ACL in his right knee Saturday against Washington State and is expected to miss four to six months following surgery.
