NCAA Cleared IU Center To Play Immediately

(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The NCAA has cleared Indiana University center Bawa Miniru to play, effective immediately.
The Hoosiers have been waiting for the NCAA Eligibility Center to clear the 6 foot 11, 260-pound center from Ghana.
Miniru averaged 16.6 points and almost nine rebounds as a high school senior in Alabama.
He will play in the Hoosiers' preseason finale Monday night against St. Joseph's College.
