Balanced Attack Leads Butler Past Northwestern

(EVANSTON, IL) - Shelvin Mack led a balanced Butler attack with 15 points as the tenth-ranked Bulldogs defeated the Northwestern Wildcats 67-54 in Evanston.

Gordon Hayward finished with a double-double, scoring 14 points and grabbing ten rebounds.

Zach Hahn added 13 points with Avery Jukes finishing with ten points as the Bulldogs improve to 2-0.

Michael Thompson led Northwestern with 16 points with John Shurna adding 14 as the Wildcats fall to 1-1.

Butler will head south to take on Evansville on Saturday night.
