NBA Free Agency Begins At Midnight
(INDIANAPOLIS) - The NBA free agency period begins at midnight tonight as teams can begin negotiations as they build their rosters for the 2009-2010 season.
The Indiana Pacers have several players who can become free agents on Wednesday.
Among those are veteran big men Rosho Nesterovic and Jeff Foster, Maceo Baston, Stephen Graham and Josh McRoberts.
The Pacers are not expected to pick up the team option for the final year of Marquis Daniels' contract, which would make him a free agent.
The team is also expected to offer a one-year tender to guard Jarrett Jack while it is expected that guard Travis Diener will not opt out of the final year of his contract, exercising his player option.
