Fever Dominate Former WNBA Champs, End Season At .500

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever head to the playoffs with a .500 record as they pounded the Phoenix Mercury 103-89 in the regular season finale at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The 103 points is a franchise record for the Fever, surpassing a 102-point effort in a triple-overtime game at New York back on June 26th.
Tammy Sutton-Brown led Indiana with a career-high 26 points. Katie Douglas added 24 points, Ebony Hoffman scored 20 points thanks to a career-high four three-pointers and Tamika Catchings finished with 18 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Cappie Pondexter led the Mercury with 23 with Diana Taurasi adding 19 as the defending WNBA champs end their season at 16-and-18.
The Fever improve to 17-and-17. They open the playoffs on Friday night when they host the Detroit Shock.
