IndyCar Series Hits Kentucky Speedway This Weekend

(SPARTA, KY) - The IndyCar Series is at Kentucky Speedway this weekend for Saturday night’s Meijer Indy 300.
Six drivers are mathematically alive in the race for the IndyCar Series championship, but fifth-place Ryan Briscoe and sixth-place Danica Patrick face elimination if they cannot cut significantly into Scott Dixon's lead this weekend.
Dixon owns a 65-point advantage over second-place Helio Castroneves with Dan Wheldon and Tony Kanaan also in contention.
Qualifying is scheduled for early this evening.
