(TERRE HAUTE, IN) - Head Coach Tony Dungy says three of the six Colts currently on the physically unable to perform list could return to practice next week.

Pro Bowl defenders Dwight Freeney and Bob Sanders should be ready following offseason surgery as should rookie tight end Tom Santi.

Two-time league MVP Peyton Manning and starting offensive lineman Ryan Lilja are not as close, but according to Dungy their recoveries are on schedule.

Dungy hopes that all five can get some preseason game action before the September 7th regular season-opener with the Chicago Bears.

The sixth player on PUP, linebacker Tyjuan Hagler, is not expected to return before October.
