(ORLANDO, FL) - The Indiana Pacers fell just short in a comeback effort against the Orlando Magic Thursday in NBA summer league play, losing 82-80.

After hitting only four-of-14 field goals in the first quarter, the Pacers made it close in the end, getting within one with 8.3 seconds to play. The Magic added a free throw and Earl Calloway got a shot off at the buzzer that could have forced overtime, but missed.

Former Texas Tech player Andre Emmitt scored 17 and former Indiana University guard Earl Calloway finished with 16 for the blue and gold. Indianapolis product and Magic first round pick Courtney Lee tied for his team's best of 18 points.

The Pacers are now 2-and-2 in summer league play and conclude league play today against the New Jersey Nets' team.
