IU Names Assistant Athletic Director For Compliance
(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University has named Ian Rickerby as the school’s assistant athletic director for compliance.
Rickerby spent five seasons as assistant women's soccer coach at IU before becoming compliance director in March of 2007.
As compliance director, he oversaw the monitoring of NCAA rules compliance and assisted with rules education. Rickerby was also the primary contact for coaches concerning NCAA bylaws on recruiting.
Chad Hawley had accepted the position of associate athletic director for compliance, but decided to remain as assistant commissioner for compliance with the Big Ten in the wake of Athletic Director Rick Greenspan's resignation.
Jennifer Brinegar was previously in charge of the compliance office at IU before becoming the Hoosiers' senior athletic director for recruiting and enrollment services.
