(LOUISVILLE, KY) - A pair of Indianapolis Indians combined for three of their team’s 11 hits, but came up short in the annual Triple-A all-star game in Louisville, Kentucky.

Indians outfielder Andrew McCutcheon went 2-for-2 with a game-high two RBI and infielder Brian Bixler was 1-of-4, but the International League squad lost to the Pacific Coast league, 6-5.

The Pacific Coast League scored all six of their runs in the top of the ninth inning, while the International League came up just short, scoring three in the bottom of the ninth.

The Indianapolis Indians resume the second half of their season tonight, beginning a series in Columbus, Ohio.
