Tribe Takes Win From Ironpigs

(ALLENTOWN, PA) - John Van Benschoten improved to 6-and-0 as the Indianapolis Indians edged the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs 6-5.
Van Benschoten allowed two earned runs over six innings to remain perfect in triple-a this season.
Adam Boeve broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the second with a three-run homer. Brian Bixler, who was optioned back to the Tribe by Pittsburgh earlier this week, added a two-run single as the Indians broke through for their first win in the series.
The four-game set concludes this afternoon in Allentown with Indianapolis going for a split.
