Tiller Suspends Player Following Theft Charges

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue senior safety Torri Williams has been suspended indefinitely by Head Coach Joe Tiller.
Williams' suspension comes one day after he was charged with conversion in a shoplifting incident last week at a Lafayette grocery store. Williams is scheduled to appear in Tippecanoe Superior Court for an initial hearing on June 9th.
Williams is currently on probation after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated charge in December.
