Scranton Push Past Tribe With Three Run Shot

(MOOSIC, PA) - Jason Lane and Cody Ransom homered to power the Scranton / Wilkes-Barre Yankees past the Indianapolis Indians 5-1.
Lane touched Indianapolis starter Ty Taubenheim for a three-run shot in the first to give the Yankees a lead they would never relinquish.
Nyjer Morgan's single in the third inning scored Adam Bouve from second base for the Tribe's only run. Ransom then hit a two-run homer off Taubenheim in the fourth to wrap up the scoring.
Scranton starter Dan Giese allowed a run on six hits over seven innings to pick up the win.
