Marco Andretti Claims Fastest Lap At Indy Speedway

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Marco Andretti was the fastest in practice Tuesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Andretti's lap of 226.599 miles per hour is the fastest of the month as the veteran drivers turned their first laps following two days of rookie orientation practice.
Tony Kanaan and Scott Dixon were both above 225 miles per hour with Ryan Briscoe and Dan Wheldon rounding out the top five.
Practice is scheduled to resume this afternoon with rain in the forecast.
