(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay says he has been assured by wide receiver Marvin Harrison that Harrison was not involved in an April 29th shooting in Philadelphia.

Irsay told The Indianapolis Star that he wants to know what the facts are before taking any action.

Philadelphia police say that a gun owned by Harrison was involved in the shooting which resulted in one man being wounded in the hand and a two-year-old boy suffering cuts when one of the shots shattered a car windshield.

A police investigator tells The Star that Harrison is not a suspect and that the all-pro receiver is cooperating fully with the investigation. Irsay says the Colts' security department has been in contact with NFL security in Philadelphia as well as with Philadelphia law enforcement agencies.

The Colts open a three-day mandatory minicamp on Friday. Irsay was not sure that Harrison would return to Indy for the minicamp as Harrison is rehabilitating his right knee following arthroscopic surgery.
