Crew Member Remains Hospitalized Following Pit Accident

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A crew member hit by Danica Patrick’s car in the pit lane at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Friday remains hospitalized.
Dayle Coyne racing crew member chuck Buckman was looking at a car in one pit box when he walked in front of Patrick's car as she was pulling into her pit stall. He was hospitalized with a concussion and cuts to his face and scalp.
Buckman was released from the intensive care unit on Saturday but remains in Methodist Hospital for continued observation.
