Purdue Freshmen Will Transfer, Says School

(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Purdue University announced Wednesday evening that freshman Scott Martin has decided to transfer.
In a statement released by the school, Purdue Coach Matt Painter said that the university will help Martin "in any way we can".
Martin, a six-eight, 200-pounder out of Valparaiso High School, played both guard and forward for the boilers. He played in 32 games as a freshman, starting eight and averaging 8.5 points per contest.
